SELECTIONS
The International summer school will be held from September 8th to 26th 2014. Participation is open to students at third year of the Bachelor Degree Courses and to students participating in a Master in Architecture, Design, Engineering and Planning, as well as to PhD research students (in the disciplines of architecture and urban planning). The program is restricted to a maximum number of 80 participants.
The application for participating (that must be made by the registration page of the website) together with a Scientific Resume and a motivation letter ( maximum 2 pages in A4 format) must be submitted by June 30th 2014.
The admitted students, at the end of the selection procedure, would be communicated via e-mail from the directors of the summer school, within July 7th 2014
The participation fee is € 180,00 including dinner buffet, didactic and other services (printing, workshop CD and some model materials).
Room and board: on request of the participants, the organization of the Workshop will be in charge of the only book accommodation at hotels at a cost of € 20,00 per night (bed&breakfast) and daily meals inside the campus. Evening meals are instead included in the registration fee.
The official language of the International summer school is English.
REGISTRATION
The admitted students will receive an email notifying the banking data for definitive registration, that should be preformed within July 14th 2014.
For finalizing the registration the admitted candidate should send an email to the summer school organization (oc.summerschool@gmail.com) with attached a confirmation letter of presence and included the payment receipt.
OFFICIAL CERTIFICATION OF THE PARTICIPATION AND RECOGNITION OF THE EDUCATIONAL CREDITS
The OC International Summer School will issue to each student an official certificate of participation and will admit to the students of the Politecnico di Milano
8 CFU, to be evaluated as internship activity.
For the other Schools of architecture the credits recognition is related to the regulations of each didactical secretary.
PIACENZA PRIZE
The Foundation of Parma and Piacenza Architects will award three prizes to three best selected projects.
